How do you have a conversation with Oprah radio’s executive producer of The Gayle King Show (XM 156, Sirius 195) and not be awed? You don’t. Meet Corny Koehl, perhaps one of radio’s most decorated producers, having worked with (and executive produced) personalities such as Oprah, Dr. Laura, Suze Orman, Gayle King, The Satellite Sisters, and more. With a resume like that, you’d think she’d be pompous, but she is about as far from that as anyone could imagine. She is as genuine as she is professional, and smart as she is real. We’ve not yet met her dog, Darla, in person, but we even love her already. For all of that, we loved getting to know Corny, and we are soon off to Chicago to hang with her again at The Oprah Show and sit in on The Gayle King show. Yes, you are looking at a couple of happy rock stars. Get your FREE trial to XM radio here. Thank you, Corny, for rockin’ your world tour of success in such a way that you touch a gazillion lives. Now, and well into the future.
Just by the name, she’s cool. By her beautifully branded headshot (peace!), she’s cool. But truly, the real live, touchable, and absolutely huggable, Ricci Neer is nothing less that a Rock Star. We met up with her and the super cool photographer that took that headshot, Korey Howell, in Dallas at the eWomen Network International Conference. Ricci was there not only because she “gets” the power of girlfriends in business, but also to accept the “Business Matchmaker of the Year Award,” which we might add she totally deserved. Totally. If you don’t yet know Ricci, get to know her. Start with this video. If you have not yet seen her gift in action, find her for your social media and marketing campaign… and watch the magic. Ricci, thanks for hangin’ with us (and Korey, too!)… looking forward to seeing you in Austin soon! Peace!
When we chatted with New York Times best selling author, Peggy McColl last weekend, we practically fell in love with her rock star balance. She talks about her juggle as a wife, mother, and career woman… and she executes each of those roles beautifully with priority and purpose. With multiple best sellers already under her belt, we are excited to watch her launch perhaps her best book yet. In “The Won Thing,” Peggy talks about viral marketing on the internet, and how to turn it into book/product sales that rock. Check out her interview, and we welcome your comments… We’ll be on her radio show in September, too, so stay tuned to see and hear more from this very cool rock star author!
We came to conference with the highest of expectations. We know better, because we expect nothing less than unbelievable every year from eWomen Network. But within the first 24 hours, truly, our lives have changed. What seemed nearly impossible on Thursday just became reality on Friday. Read the rest of this entry »
She’s known as The Queen of Facebook, but we know Mari Smith is really the queen of all things Social Media. With a personality as bubbly as it is professional, and sweet as it is knowledgeable, we adore Mari. You will, also. Here’s why….
