At Rock Star U, our mission is to touch a gazillion lives by shining a light on your individual talents and gifts.  Through your contribution, you can be part of that mission with timely articles, wise words for our rock star community, and even interviews featuring your relevant, valuable wisdom to share.  We always give author credit and will link to your site if you provide it.

THE RULES:

1. CRITICAL: Select a category. More than one category may apply (Parents, Teens, Entrepreneurs, Lifestyle & Wellness, Relationships, Money, Other).  Copy/Paste this into your subject line and fill in topic and title like this:  GUEST ARTICLE: Category(s) Listed, Title Here.
2. Your full name, your contact email, your website you want us to link to.
3. We love promoting our guest contributors…that’s why we publish you with your links.  If you have appropriate graphics, video, or audio, feel free to email it also and we do our best to include it.  Larger files may be sent via yousendit.com.
4. In turn, we ask that you help get the word out for Aly and Andrea’s Rock Star U and World Tour of Success.  Please announce your feature, tweet it, facebook it, blog about it, and so on.  We will also provide you with a button that says “I Contributed to Your World Tour of Success!” so you can build your platform also.  And don’t forget to sign up for our affiliate program so you can earn money when you promote World Tour of Success!  It is free and easy!
5. Confirm link in your email box for our newsletter, in the event you are published in the newsletter also.  You will automatically be confirmed on the guest contributor list, so you may ultimately be considered as a featured on-going expert.

Article Format

Questions to ask yourself when submitting:

* How is this article relevant to the reader?

* Is this article informative, funny,  and/or inspirational?  If it is none of those, it is too salesy.

*  Is this article a value-added asset to the audience I am trying to reach?

*  Are all my facts and research correct and thoroughly researched and validated.

1.  Rock Star U presents material that is always useful, relevant, and entertaining to our community.  Submitted articles must match this vision.  Heavy sales pitches, inappropriate language/content, or any material that does not align with our Hall of Fame vision will not be published.

2.  Submissions should be written in 12 point Arial font, and single spaced with no unusual formatting.  Please use 4-space indent, with no space between paragraphs.

3.  Articles may include link(s), but we reserve the right to review, edit, or delete, upon our sole discretion.  Again, heavy sales pushes will not be published.

4.  Articles should be 400-600 words.

5.  Tags must be subtle.  Blatant “buy this or buy that” articles will not be published for the protection of our members.

6.  Rock Star U believes in lifting others up and promoting what is positive.  Be real in your writing, but please understand the line between honesty or having an opinion vs. destructive or offensive language.

7.  Think valuable content that is relevant for busy rock stars.  Give lists, instructions, pointers, resources, guidelines, etc.. And pictures, video, and audio are always great!

8.  Rock Star U reviews and vets all submissions prior to publication.  We reserve the right to edit, as needed.  If there are changes, we will return the article to you for approval prior to publication.  If there are no changes, we will publish immediately upon our own approval, with author credit to you.  All authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness of content in your article.
