Being from Texas, where its a thousand degrees at times, we have a huge appreciation for snowy mountains and dry, cool summer evenings.  For a that and a million other reasons, we have a particularly huge appreciation for Park City Mountain Resort, all the very cool people on it, and the Snowmama of ‘em all, Krista Parry.  We spoke with the former track star turned PR Director, mom-blogger, and snow mama last week during the Olympics and she (as always) had lots to share.

Krista is the epitome of everything Park City.  She and the entire PC Family are about as fun and laid back as you can get. Very authentic with zero pretentiousness.  We wondered if the resort listed “coolness and friendliness” as a pre-requisite to be hired within a 100 mile radius of the place, but after talking to Krista, we are pretty sure it is.  And its about as easy access as you can get to a mountain from the SLC airport, so it makes the perfect place for family vacation.

Here’s what’s even cooler (no pun, really): Krista is a resident “Snowmama” at Park City, heading up a team of amazing moms blogging about ideas and tips for family winter vacations. Some of the Snowmamas you’ll hear from are Krista, Sugar Jones, Amber Borowski Johnson, Eileen, Linda, and more! This is a definite feed to follow, and even submit your questions if you are considering packing up the fam for a vacay.

We want you to know this amazing woman, and we want you to know Park City.  There’s much more to share about Krista, her story, and Park City, so we are sure to steal her again for another interview soon.  Better yet, go meet her in person and bring the family!

Check out the renowned ski/snowboard school, the Park City All Stars, including Shaun White and Torah Bright, Summer time activities, and so much more. We’re about to put a stinkin’ airline link up here too…. that’s how we roll when we know it really will be a trip of a lifetime for you.  Thanks for chattin’ with us, Krista!

Connect with Krista and the entire Park City family on Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube. Oh, and here’s her interview with us for your listening pleasure!

Until next time, Rock on!
